Haha so it's been almost three months and no posting. Not surprising, eh? Well, maybe I will try to get back into this, maybe not. Oddly enough, I am not going back to school next semester, because I wasn't able to pay for counseling, so now we shall wait until fall. In the meantime, I am a full-time employee of a splendid law firm and my benefits come next month. Whoopee! Now I can get some dental work done.

And that's how it all began....

So I'm sitting here at work, doing some overtime for that much-needed money. I miss being in school, but I *DO NOT* miss the stress. I know that time off was the best option for me... thank god I had someone to push me to a decision I didn't want to make at the time. I've really started to get my priorities in order and am learning a lot about myself in the process. Now I just need to get back into counseling. You know, it's really hard to pick up that phone after 4 months and find some way to jump back in. I tell myself that working the hours I do makes it almost impossible to get a therapist, but I must try or they won't let me re-enroll. Oh how my family would enjoy that. I know my mom is supportive of this time off, but if I wanted to extend it another semester I don't know how she would react. Probably not very positively. I'm sure she just wants me to finish and whatnot... not throw away all I've worked for etc. etc. I WILL be back in school next semester, I will be able to manage my time more efficiently, I will have a comfortable, safe place to live, I will have supportive friends and sisters, I will make time for myself, and I will be a STRAIGHT A STUDENT AGAIN!!! Well, I will give it all that I have, I will have no fear of my professors and I won't let a bunch of Emory assholes distract me from my mission. Then on to law school! I feel very positive about my future, and YOU SHOULD TOO!!!
